Must have, for probably everyone! My husband was recommended DMSO for his painful joints, which worked but caused bad breath. After some research, we began taking MSM, around 4000 to 6000 mg daily. We have noticed numerous benefits in just two months; my husband's joint pains have almost vanished, and he no longer suffers from IBS or sleep issues. I've seen significant improvements too: my PMS pain is much reduced, and I’ve regulated my gut which had previously experienced constipation. I no longer have chronic fatigue, and respiratory issues like asthma are gone. My overall energy is normal, and I even sleep soundly now. This stuff is quite miraculous, and we've experienced fewer colds too.

Severe constipation issues

I have to give a negative update on this vegetarian version; it caused foul gas, severe constipation, and dark sticky stools, with what appeared to be blood on occasions. I needed a colonic for the intense stomach pain and constipation. I can now rule this product out entirely as the cause of my distress. I switched to a powder form from a different brand, eliminating all issues. Otherwise, MSM’s benefits are notable, such as improved skin and nails.

Awesome stuff! I've used this product for years to manage my fibromyalgia. It significantly reduces muscle and joint pain, boosts my energy, and has helped me overcome constipation caused by other medications. I wouldn't want to be without it!

Resolved constipation completely
A friend recommended this to me. My constipation is completely resolved, thanks to the feeling of reduced belly fat. I will continue to use it consistently.
Constipation is a common condition characterized by infrequent bowel movements or difficulty passing stools. It is typically defined as having fewer than three bowel movements per week, leading to hard, dry stools that are painful or difficult to expel. This condition can be caused by a variety of factors, including diet, dehydration, lack of physical activity, and certain medications. Stress and lifestyle changes can also contribute, making it essential for individuals to identify the root causes of their constipation for effective relief.
To alleviate constipation, it’s recommended to increase fiber intake by consuming more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes, as well as ensuring adequate hydration throughout the day. Regular exercise can also promote healthy bowel function. If over-the-counter solutions such as fiber supplements or laxatives aren't effective, it's advisable to consult a healthcare provider, as chronic constipation can lead to complications and indicate underlying health issues. Keeping a consistent eating and bathroom schedule can also help regulate bowel movements.
Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a naturally occurring sulfur compound that is often used as a dietary supplement. It is found in various fruits, vegetables, grains, and animal products, but its concentration in these foods is relatively low. MSM gained popularity for its potential health benefits, particularly in the realms of joint health, anti-inflammatory effects, and skin care. Many users report improvements in symptoms related to osteoarthritis and joint pain when using MSM supplements.
The mechanism behind MSM's effects is believed to be related to its ability to support the body's production of collagen, which is essential for maintaining healthy cartilage and connective tissues. Additionally, MSM is thought to have antioxidant properties that might help combat oxidative stress, further promoting joint and overall health. However, while many anecdotal reports support these claims, scientific research on the efficacy of MSM is still ongoing. As with any supplement, it's crucial to consult with a healthcare professional before incorporating MSM into your regimen, especially if you have underlying health conditions or are taking other medications.
When taking MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) for constipation, individual results can vary widely. Typically, users might begin to notice improvements within a few days to a week of consistent use. However, some people may experience relief sooner, while others might take a bit longer to see significant changes. It's important to stay hydrated and maintain a balanced diet rich in fiber, as these aspects can greatly influence the effectiveness of MSM in alleviating constipation.
Additionally, MSM is often recommended in conjunction with other dietary changes or supplements that target digestion and bowel health. Keep in mind that while some users report positive results, scientific evidence on MSM specifically for constipation is still limited. As with any supplement, it’s a good idea to consult with a healthcare provider before starting MSM, especially if constipation persists or if you have underlying health concerns.
