Peer support aids anxiety management
We explored the effectiveness of a 7-week peer-to-peer program for young people aged 15 to 25 who experience symptoms of anxiety and depression in Denmark.

With 483 participants primarily women, we gathered data through questionnaires before, after, and five months later. This allowed us to track changes in anxiety, depression, and self-efficacy.

The results showed that the program helped reduce symptoms and improve self-management. However, we noted mixed outcomes regarding education and employment, suggesting that while employment rates improved, education may have suffered for some participants.

Cessation reduces stigma and anxiety
Our analysis explored how quitting smoking after a cancer diagnosis affects internalized stigma and anxiety. We found that cancer patients who successfully quit smoking reported significant reductions in cancer-related stigma.

These decreases in stigma were also linked to reductions in anxiety over time. However, quitting smoking did not have a notable effect on depressive symptoms. Budding evidence suggests that smoking cessation not only aids in medical outcomes but also enhances the emotional well-being of cancer patients.

Yoga and therapy reduce anxiety symptoms
We explored how an integrated intervention of yoga and psychological support could help women facing cancer-related distress.

In a 10-week program, 125 participants engaged in mindfulness meditation, psychotherapy, and yoga. By analyzing the collected data, we found promising reductions in anxiety and depressive symptoms across the board.

Notably, higher socioeconomic status linked to greater relief from fear of cancer recurrence and other distress aspects. Women of color seemed to benefit particularly well, experiencing significant declines in somatic symptoms compared to their non-Hispanic White counterparts.

While the results point to potential efficacy, future studies should further explore this approach's feasibility and effectiveness in larger, more diverse groups.

B1 supplementation benefits

I have found through research that B1 supplementation helps to relieve anxiety attacks. After trying it for a few months, I can't stop taking it. It also aids with vivid nightmares and waking up in the middle of the night in a panic. I highly recommend this product, particularly as those consuming high carbohydrates and sugar often have a B1 deficiency. The higher dose in one tablet makes it easier to manage.

The B-1 250mg dose is great for those seeking a higher dosage. It helps my anxiety when taken with breakfast in the morning. The only drawback is that the tablets are challenging to break for smaller doses. However, Mason offers a fantastic price on Iherb.
