We examined how changes in iron levels during pregnancy relate to anxiety and overall wellbeing. The study followed pregnant women in Cape Coast, Ghana, tracking their iron status and psychological health throughout the first, second, and third trimesters.
Our findings indicate that improvements in iron levels from the first to the second trimester significantly reduced anxiety, especially concerning fearful feelings. The numbers showed that women who enjoyed better iron status experienced less anxiety, which suggests iron supplementation might play a helpful role in enhancing mental health during early pregnancy.
However, we also noted that as iron levels changed from the second to the third trimester, there was a surprising rise in anxiety. Despite initial improvements, some aspects of quality of life declined, indicating the complex relationship between iron status and mental wellbeing.

I'm pleased with my new hair! I experienced hair loss due to iron deficiency, which is why I chose this supplement, as it has a commendable composition. The capsules are easy to swallow with water. I took one capsule daily for three months, and the packaging was ideal—should I need iron again, I can resume immediately without delay. After six months, I noticed significant growth of small new hairs. Additionally, I struggled with fatigue, which I attributed to depression and anxiety. After the iron course, those issues resolved. I also took iron with vitamin C from NOW Foods. The photo shows my hair's growth, which continues to flourish and resembles bangs now!
