This product works for me, as expected. I've suffered from chronic constipation throughout my life, often going a week without bowel movements. After trying fibre supplements, I started with Metamucil. It worked well, but I was concerned about its ingredients. So, I switched to NOW's version which yielded the same great results after mixing it with juice and water. It's not enjoyable to drink, but it definitely assists with my constipation.

Many Japanese diets lack dietary fibre. Psyllium Husk helps resolve gastrointestinal upsets, constipation, and diarrhoea. It improved my severe diarrhoea, making my toilet visits less frequent. I mix it with protein in an electric shaker.

Highly recommended fibre
Recommended for constipation! Unlike laxatives or prune juice, psyllium husk is safer as it's based on dietary fibre. I suggest organic, whole husk for better results; it really works if you stay hydrated and take it properly.

Not suitable for me
I got this for overall intestinal health, but it seems only effective for those with constipation. I usually have no issues, but after taking this, I feel constipated regardless of water intake.

No more constipation
The size is good. I take it with high protein meals, and I've had no more constipation. It doesn’t taste of anything, making it easy to consume.

It tastes quite substantial, but it does effectively relieve constipation. I take a spoonful on an empty stomach with a can of water, which has made managing my constipation easier than before.

Improves constipation

It is interesting to buy something slightly more expensive in a bank than in a package. I actively engage in intestinal healing using psyllium, an active absorbent. Its fibre content surpasses oat bran by over 14 times. The psyllium seed shell is highly hygroscopic, absorbing moisture significantly. This aids the microbiota and acts as a mild laxative, enabling softer evacuation. I recommend taking it for constipation half an hour before breakfast or an hour after dinner, diluted in a glass of water with another glass.
