Goodbye acid reflux, gas, and constipation! After a spinal injury led to a partial neurogenic colon, I needed help digesting food and found relief in digestive enzymes. These work, but patience is needed. I bought them after watching Dr. Berg's videos on digestion. Having had my gallbladder removed, I faced issues like poor digestion and constipation, which I thought unrelated to bile. However, after taking these supplements for a month, my constipation has disappeared. I noticed improvements after a week and now take one with each of my two daily meals. The quality of NOW supplements is excellent and reasonably priced. I'll definitely repurchase.

Avoid Calcium Carbonate

Be cautious about which version you receive! I am now on my third bottle. Initially, I felt unwell and experienced migraines and a rapid heartbeat. After increasing my water intake, I felt normal. However, the second bottle caused bloating and EXTREME CONSTIPATION due to the CALCIUM CARBONATE, which made me irregular for over 8 days. I do not recommend the version with calcium at all. I even ended up in the ER thinking it was a pelvic infection, but it was extreme pain from backed stool and trapped gas! Thankfully, my third bottle doesn’t contain CALCIUM CARBONATE. Please avoid the calcium version as it will ruin your insides.

After gall bladder surgery, I've had trouble with heavier foods. Since discovering these enzymes, my digestion has improved. I take them at various times during meals and am pleased to say I have no problems with constipation now.

I take one after each meal, which makes it easier to eat greasy or hard-to-digest foods without upset. I've noticed better stools and nutrient absorption, leading to comfort and relief from constipation. However, the tablets can be bitter and unpleasant in taste.
