We explored the impact of iron on chemotherapy effectiveness, particularly in the treatment of osteosarcoma (OS). The study revealed promising insights into how combining iron with eriodictyol and cisplatin could promote ferroptosis—a form of regulated cell death that can improve the overall effectiveness of cancer therapies.

Normalised haemoglobin
Undergoing chemotherapy, the side effects of docetaxel caused anemia, with a decrease in platelets and white blood cells. This was concerning, so I took two tablets of docetaxel daily along with vitamin C, allowing my hemoglobin level to return to normal in three weeks. I still have more rounds of chemotherapy to complete and wish to continue taking them diligently.
