We set out to explore the therapeutic impact of quercetin on psoriasis and how it interacts with a specific signaling pathway known as PI3K/AKT/GLUT1, which plays a critical role in inflammation and immune responses. Using a mouse model of psoriasis induced by imiquimod, we carefully assessed the effects of quercetin on skin lesions and associated histopathological features.

To deepen our understanding, we evaluated human keratinocyte cells (HaCaT) to see how quercetin influenced cell proliferation and apoptosis. Our findings indicated that quercetin appeared helpful in reducing the symptoms of psoriasis and that it had a notable effect on signaling through the PI3K/AKT/GLUT1 pathway.

Overall, the results suggest that quercetin could be a promising candidate for treating psoriasis, marking a step forward in potential therapeutic options. As we continue to investigate this area, these insights may pave the way for more targeted treatments in the future.

Our exploration focused on understanding how quercetin, along with other components, contributes to treating psoriasis. The study involved utilizing various databases to identify compounds and their targets, followed by creating a network to visualize these interactions.

We examined the effects of quercetin and found that it effectively reduces the production of inflammatory substances like NO, TNF-α, and IL-6. Additionally, quercetin appeared to impact critical inflammatory pathways, particularly by regulating the IL-23/IL-17A axis through the phospho-STAT3 pathway. This regulation is significant, as it suggests quercetin's potential in managing psoriasis symptoms by dampening the inflammatory response.

Overall, our findings highlight quercetin, along with asiaticoside and asiatic acid, as key players in addressing psoriasis. However, quercetin stands out for its specific impact on modulating inflammatory markers, which presents a promising direction for future treatments.

Quercetin's potential in psoriasis
We examined the therapeutic effects of quercetin, a key component of the traditional Chinese medicine formulation known as Haitang-Xiaoyin Mixture (HXM), on psoriasis. The study utilized advanced approaches, including bioinformatics and network pharmacology, to identify the specific targets and mechanisms of action that quercetin may have in managing this skin condition.

Our findings illuminated that quercetin, along with another component called triptolide, interacts with important proteins in the body known to be involved in psoriasis. Notably, we pinpointed CXCL2 and CXCR4 as critical targets affected by quercetin, suggesting that this compound plays an essential role in modulating immune responses and inflammation associated with psoriasis.

By employing methods like machine learning and molecular docking, we strengthened the understanding of how quercetin acts at a molecular level. This research reveals the promising potential of quercetin in alleviating psoriasis symptoms, although we should carefully consider its effects in conjunction with other compounds present in HXM.

My psoriasis suddenly disappeared. This is my second purchase. I had psoriasis and tried it, but it vanished unexpectedly. I cannot attribute this entirely to the product, as I did not change anything else. The expiration date is also good and long.

Quercetin and bromelain are powerful natural ingredients designed to suppress allergic and inflammatory disorders such as sinusitis, asthma, eczema, and hay fever. They help alleviate allergic conditions, relieve asthma symptoms, and promote phlegm elimination in bronchitis. These ingredients also combat atopic dermatitis and psoriasis, relieve sinusitis symptoms, and fight inflammation of cartilage and joints. As someone with arthritis, Raynaud's syndrome, and numerous allergies, Quercetin has been a salvation for me! I take it regularly and definitely recommend it.

Psoriasis improved noticeably

I'm taking this because it's beneficial. I have severe psoriasis and have used it for over a month, as it is said to support immunity and possesses antioxidant qualities. I’ve dealt with psoriasis on my elbows and knees for more than 10 years. While it worsened with itching and pain, my symptoms have improved significantly. There is almost no itching now, and although it remains slightly raised, it is manageable. I plan to continue taking it. I feel it’s better than not eating anything and hoping to improve. I am satisfied with this product.
