Bifidobacterium lactis alleviates bloating
We conducted a study to see if a fermented dairy product with Bifidobacterium lactis DN-173 010 could help reduce bloating in patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and constipation. In a controlled trial with 34 participants over four weeks, we found that this probiotic significantly decreased abdominal girth and improved gastrointestinal transit times.

Patients reported feeling less bloated, and symptom severity also decreased. These findings suggest that fostering faster transit times may be an effective method to combat abdominal distension.

Lactobacillus acidophilus reduces bloating
We examined how Lactobacillus acidophilus can help treat bloating in patients with dyspepsia due to imbalances in gut bacteria. In a study involving 30 participants, symptoms such as pain, pressure, and bloating were self-reported while objective measures like bowel movements and weight changes were also tracked.

Those affected by antibiotic-induced dysbiosis experienced rapid relief within days. Improvements were noted in symptoms of maldigestion over a week, and remarkable results were observed in patients with radiation enterocolitis. Overall, this probiotic showed promise for alleviating digestive discomfort without notable side effects.

Probiotic reduces bloating post-surgery
We explored the impact of Bifidobacterium LPL-RH on postoperative gastrointestinal symptoms in patients with valvular heart disease. In a randomized controlled trial involving 110 patients, those receiving the probiotic experienced a significant reduction in bloating compared to the placebo group. Not only did LPL-RH effectively ease bloating and abdominal pain, but it also helped improve bowel function recovery and nutritional indexes. This promising result reinforces the potential of probiotics to enhance patient recovery after heart surgery.

Awesome Probiotic. A year ago, I was diagnosed with a candida overgrowth; my naturopath advised me to take a probiotic regularly. I've tried other brands, but RenewLife works best for me. I experienced no side effects like bloating, gas, constipation, or diarrhoea, which I've heard others faced with lesser quality probiotics. I've even got my boyfriend to try this for his bloating, and I intend to keep purchasing this and other Renew Life products.

Bifidobacterium lactis reduces bloating
We explored whether consuming a fermented milk product with Bifidobacterium lactis could help reduce bloating and other digestive symptoms. After combining data from two studies, 538 participants reported a noticeable decrease in symptoms within just two weeks.

Notably, this improvement in digestive health appeared to happen regardless of participants' dietary fiber intake or physical activity levels. This rapid response could make it easier for individuals to stick with this dietary change for better gut health.

SCM-III improves IBS symptoms
We conducted a study examining the effects of a novel symbiotic treatment, SCM-III, on patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Sixty-eight adults were divided into two groups—one received SCM-III and the other a heat-inactivated version, both for 12 weeks.

Our findings showed that most patients reported significant improvements in bloating and abdominal pain compared to a control group. Over 80% felt the treatment was effective, while less than 5% labelled it ineffective.

Overall, this suggests that certain IBS patients could greatly benefit from symbiotic treatments like SCM-III, though it may require a cyclic use for best results.

We investigated how a combination of Bifidobacterium longum BB536 and Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN001, along with vitamin B6, affects bloating in patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). In a well-structured crossover trial involving 25 IBS patients, we found that this formula significantly reduced bloating by about 36% compared to a placebo. Additionally, patients experienced reduced abdominal pain and improved gut health. Overall, this treatment shows promise for alleviating IBS symptoms and enhancing gut health.

I heard a gynaecologist recommend this for recurring infections. I experienced discomfort, but after starting the product, my digestion improved, and I felt comfortable. On days when I take the recommended amount, I have no bloating, and my stomach is clear. I take it first thing in the morning and wait at least half an hour for absorption. The taste is sweet, reminiscent of vanilla and orange, and the small capsules are easy to take.

Painful bloating
After taking this product for a few days, I experienced painful bloating, feeling like a balloon. I couldn't notice any positive effects on digestion or my reproductive system due to the short time frame. While I understand that 50 billion is a high dosage, the extreme bloating was unpleasant. I will consider trying this product again in the future.

Probiotics improve metabolic treatment support
We looked into how adding the probiotic Bifidobacterium lactis affects patients recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes or prediabetes undergoing treatment with metformin. In our analysis of 156 participants, we found that those taking the probiotic alongside their medication experienced significantly less bloating and other gastrointestinal symptoms.

Additionally, this combination led to better adherence to treatment and improved blood sugar control over three months. The results suggest that using probiotics could be a valuable way to enhance metformin therapy for these patients.
8
Bifidobacterium lactis alleviates bloating
We conducted a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial to assess how well the probiotics Lactobacillus acidophilus NCFM and Bifidobacterium lactis Bi-07 help reduce bloating in patients with functional bowel disorders. Over eight weeks, participants taking probiotics experienced a notable improvement in bloating symptoms compared to those on placebo, especially by the four-week mark. Additionally, those with irritable bowel syndrome saw similar enhancements in symptoms. Overall, our findings suggest that these specific probiotics can effectively aid in managing bloating for those suffering from functional bowel issues.
5
Bifidobacterium lactis lacks bloating benefits
We evaluated the impact of probiotics, specifically Bifidobacterium lactis, on bloating and other symptoms of functional constipation. By reviewing 15 relevant clinical trials, we discovered that while multispecies probiotics significantly improved bowel regularity and reduced bloating, Bifidobacterium lactis alone didn't show a notable effect on these issues. Our findings suggest that if you're looking for relief from bloating, a combination of probiotics might be the more effective option rather than relying solely on Bifidobacterium lactis.

Bifidobacterium lactis reduces bloating
In a recent randomized, double-blind study involving 49 patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), we explored the impact of multispecies probiotics, including Bifidobacterium lactis, on various IBS symptoms. Participants took probiotics or a placebo for four weeks.

We observed that 68% of the patients taking probiotics reported significant relief from symptoms like bloating, compared to just 37.5% in the placebo group. This suggests that Bifidobacterium lactis, along with other probiotics, can be quite beneficial in managing bloating and overall IBS symptoms.
