I use this product to help my immune system. I like that it is made of natural products. It seems to help keep bladder infections away for me. I take this so that I will not get the flu. Usually every winter I get a bad flu but this year for me I did not get the flu. I have been buying this at a local store but I like the convenience of having this delivered. We all could stand stronger immune systems

healing my eye strain!

I've tried a bunch of different natural remedies to heal chronic eye strain that started back in Dec. '09. When the rabbit hole of Internet searching led me to vitamin C as a possible alternative to deal with the problem, I started taking this particular brand of vitamin C (recommended by my M.D. bro-in-law b/c it's easy on digestive system and bioavailable) in early 2013. Within a few weeks, I was able to stay on the computer longer, stay outside in the sun longer, reader longer! I started with 6 caps, now down to 4/day (2 grams). BTW I was diagnosed with Irlen Syndrome in June of 2012. If you have, too, FORGET THE GLASSES! Get on this vitamin C! Great product.

Excellent alternative to sodium ascorbate and ascorbic acid! Read on

I purchased these thinking they were sodium ascorbate which is another form of Ester C. Turns out these are calcium ascorbate which turned out to be a good surprise. With an increase intake of Vit C, ascorbic acid was doing all kinds of funny to my digestive. Sodium ascorbate is better for this but the extra sodium was also somewhat a compromise.. then these arrive turning out to be calcium ascorbate. Not upset stomach and no added sodium to my diet, best of all taking 2G a day is easy peasy

Works and how!

Normally Vitamins have a notorious history of not showing you whether its working or not. But my case was different! I was having a painless blackish red spot on my left hand, very close to the middle. I was wondering what this black spot was, because this was very recent. I started Solgar for allergies and infections. Its been 8 days now (500MG; 2x a day) and this black spot on my hand has disappeared by about 75%. I did also add a new probiotic (Bacillus Coagulans) along with this probiotic, but I doubt if a probiotic gets rid of dark spots on skin. I am pretty confident its this one by Solgar thats working on that. I do feel like my allergy symptoms are not as noticeable. Very honest review this and I am not paid for it (I have paid for the product)

Love product, but arrived shattered due to Amazon packing mistake

I have used this in past,but bought it in person at Whole foods. Happy with product, not happy how I received it. Bottle is glass, packed in bubble wrap, shipped in plastic envelope. Arrived broken. Rookie shippers at Amazon need retraing in packing a glass product. Love the product though, easy to swallow.,Just prefer without glass shards

Solgar is our favorite supplement brand.

We try to use Solgar supplement products almost exclusively, firstly because they are in glass bottles, and secondly because the quality is always high and the products are as effective as expected.
