Zinc's limited effect on dizziness
This study examined the effectiveness of a nutritional supplement containing zinc, among other ingredients, in preventing the recurrence of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), a condition that can cause intense dizziness. We followed a diverse group of 128 patients with a history of frequent BPPV episodes. They were divided into three groups based on their vitamin D levels and received different treatment plans.

In one group, those with low vitamin D received a daily supplement containing zinc, along with other antioxidants and vitamin D3. We noticed a remarkable decrease in BPPV relapses in this group after six months compared to where they started. However, for the groups that had sufficient vitamin D and particularly those receiving zinc without vitamin D, we did not find significant benefits in reducing dizziness recurrence.

While zinc was part of a combined treatment approach, it didn’t demonstrate a standalone positive impact on dizziness. Our findings suggest that while zinc might play a role alongside other supplements, it shouldn't be solely relied upon for preventing BPPV relapses in patients with sufficient vitamin D levels.

I bought this zinc during a panic about coronavirus without reading the reviews. I take one capsule every three days in the evening, but it causes a slight headache and dizziness, which I don’t usually experience with other supplements.

This zinc works excellently! Despite many colleagues having a cold, I remain healthy. Importantly, my husband did not experience nausea or dizziness, which is unusual for him. Zinc is vital for men, boosting testosterone levels and overall health—essential for maintaining immunity. He’ll continue to take this one. I highly recommend it!

Excellent! I used to feel nauseous with other zinc types, but switching to picolinate salt has meant I can take it without experiencing dizziness or discomfort.

The picolinate form is considered the best for digestibility. The dosage is good, but taking it on an empty stomach causes dizziness and nausea. The composition isn’t perfect for me, so I won’t buy again.

Good zinc for immune support. I’ve taken this zinc multiple times before and it positively affects my hair, nails, and skin. It boosts my immunity, preventing sickness, even during an outbreak. My hair looks voluminous and shiny. The supplement is well absorbed. If I feel dizziness initially, I just reduce the dose. Consulting a doctor beforehand is advisable.

The price is good. Due to my hypothyroidism symptoms, I’m taking zinc and selenium. Even with two pills a day, I’ve had no side effects. In the past, I felt dizziness and nausea with one 25mg pill daily, so now I take it intermittently.

Hope for dizziness
I ordered it for the first time. I previously took zinc citrate which caused a bit of dizziness. I hope this picolinate version will be easier to take.
