Torsten Bohn is a food chemist and nutritionist, currently heading the Nutrition and Health Group at the Luxembourg Institute of Health. He is also an adjunct associate Professor at Luxembourg University, Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal for Vitamin and Nutrition Research, a member of the NutriScore Expert Panel, and part of EFSA's panel on Nutrition, Novel Foods, and Food Allergens. His research focuses on micronutrients and phytochemicals, their digestion, metabolism, and relation to chronic diseases characterized by oxidative stress and inflammation. With over 200 scientific publications, he has a current H-index of 50.
