Probiotic improves IBS-C symptoms
We examined the effects of Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus IDCC 3201 on patients suffering from irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C). In a robust study involving 30 participants, we used a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled design.

After eight weeks of treatment, the probiotic group reported significant improvements in bowel activities and discomfort linked to constipation. Notably, symptoms like abdominal bloating also improved.

Our findings suggest that this probiotic might help enhance gut health by promoting beneficial microbes and their metabolites.

Lactobacillus shows promise for constipation
We investigated the effects of a new microbial strain, LP-HFY11, on constipation caused by a common medication in mice. The results showed that LP-HFY11 helped maintain fecal weight and improved gut movement. Those given a high dose expelled stool faster than others treated with lactulose, although still slower than in normal mice.

Interestingly, LP-HFY11 also promoted positive changes in intestinal health and increased certain beneficial substances in the bloodstream, suggesting it could serve as an effective probiotic for constipation management. There appears to be promising potential for LP-HFY11's use in both the food and pharmaceutical industries.

We conducted a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial involving 40 adults with functional constipation to see if Lactobacillus reuteri could improve their condition. Over four weeks, those receiving L. reuteri had a notable increase in weekly bowel movements, averaging 2.6 more compared to just 1.0 in the placebo group.

While this probiotic showed promise in enhancing bowel movement frequency, it did not significantly change stool consistency. This suggests that L. reuteri may be a beneficial option for adults struggling with constipation.

Normalised digestion

I bought this due to my tendency towards candida. The size is tiny, making it easy to swallow, which is great considering I work at night. Previously, I faced only diarrhoea or constipation, but now my digestion has normalised. Just ensure not to leave any moisture in sensitive areas and aim to take this consistently.

Relieved constipation

Good for constipation! I faced significant constipation during my pregnancy, but by taking two types of lactobacillus, I found relief. Even after giving birth, I have been able to use the bathroom comfortably every day while on both. The size is quite small, and it comes in a compact container. I started noticing the effects after a few days, and now I’m regular every day.

This is a fantastic prebiotic! By the second week of taking it, I felt changes almost immediately. I had experienced irregular bowel habits before, but now they have normalised; I am going 3-5 times a day without any discomfort or constipation. The capsules are very small, easy to swallow. I take one after lunch, and remarkably, it has also alleviated dryness during intimacy.

CCFM1163 probiotic alleviates constipation
We explored the potential of the probiotic CCFM1163 to alleviate slow-transit constipation caused by prolonged laxative use, known as cathartic colon. Using a mouse model, we observed how this probiotic affects the gut's nerve and barrier functions.

The findings revealed that CCFM1163 enhances the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), which activates a key signaling pathway, helping to restore gut health. As a result, it significantly improved intestinal function, offering hope for those suffering from this condition.

Probiotics effectively relieve constipation
We explored how specific microbial agents can change the gut bacteria and help relieve constipation in mice. The study focused on two treatments, including Lactobacillus, and found they increased beneficial gut bacteria and improved peristalsis, which is the movement that helps waste pass through the intestines.

Notably, one agent, PE0401, showed a better ability to alleviate constipation symptoms by enhancing gut health and reducing inflammation. The results suggest that probiotics can play a positive role in managing constipation.

Lactobacillus reduces constipation symptoms
We explored the effects of a fermented milk product containing two specific probiotic strains, Lacticaseibacillus paracasei JY062 and Lactobacillus gasseri JM1, on relieving constipation in mice.

Over 14 days, we found that this probiotic mix enhanced gastrointestinal function by boosting the secretion of important gut hormones and increasing beneficial bacteria while reducing harmful ones.

Our findings suggest this fermented milk could be a useful approach to managing constipation and improving gut health.

Lactobacillus rhamnosus reduces constipation
We investigated the effects of Lactobacillus rhamnosus (LRJ-1) on constipation in mice. The study revealed that oral treatment with LRJ-1 led to significant improvements in constipation by increasing levels of a gut compound called γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA).

We also found that the beneficial impact of LRJ-1 was linked to the growth of specific intestinal bacteria and the activation of certain nerve pathways in the gut. While these findings are promising, they confirm the potential of LRJ-1 in addressing constipation through its influence on gut health.

I bought this to enhance my uterine flora. I appreciate the inclusion of Rhamnosus and Reuteri among its ingredients. The small tablet size is unusual for an overseas product, and there’s no distinctive taste. Since I began taking it, I’ve not experienced any constipation, and my vaginal discharge is clearer. I have reordered it multiple times.

This was an excellent product overall. After two weeks of use, I felt results—my intimate area was moisturised without additional aids, and it became comfortable. I didn't expect such an outcome. The capsule sizes are normal, making it a valuable supplement. The packaging is sizeable and lasts a long time. Its unique microbium composition absorbed quickly, causing no bloating or constipation. It has genuinely helped me; I will continue using it.

Helps with constipation

Needless to say, it's a highly regarded product, and I truly believe it's the finest quality lactic acid bacteria! If I don't take this, I experience considerable secretions and symptoms of vaginitis as my menstrual cycle approaches. Thankfully, it alleviates those issues! I tend to be constipated and consume this product with 100 billion lactobacilli, which seems to enhance my bathroom visits. The pill is small and easy to swallow with water, and it doesn't require refrigeration, making it convenient to store. I understand why this product is popular. Those suffering from vaginitis ought to give this a try!

A much-needed supplement with high-quality ingredients. The small package and capsules make it perfect for carrying in my purse or pocket. From my perspective, Femdophilus was incredibly beneficial for rebalancing my microflora and gut microbiome after antibiotic use. I experienced improved absorption, no constipation, an absence of upset stomach, and enhanced energy levels and digestion, with no aftertaste. A superb choice!

I purchased it for women's health to enhance my intestinal flora post-antibiotic treatment. The small capsules are easy to swallow, and after taking one capsule daily, I noticed it spread smoothly in my stomach. I've found that I don't experience constipation, which helps in maintaining good health.

Lactobacillus reuteri enhances H. pylori treatment
We explored the effectiveness of Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17648 as an adjunct treatment for patients with Helicobacter pylori infection. In a rigorous randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial involving 90 treatment-naïve patients, we found that adding this probiotic significantly boosted the H. pylori eradication rate.

Additionally, participants taking Lactobacillus reuteri reported notable relief from gastrointestinal symptoms like constipation and abdominal pain, along with fewer treatment-related side effects. This suggests that Lactobacillus reuteri could be a valuable tool in enhancing conventional H. pylori treatments.
2
Probiotics ineffective for constipation
We conducted a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial involving 94 children under 5, all suffering from functional constipation. Participants received either Lactobacillus rhamnosus or a placebo for four weeks. While we observed some increase in bowel movements in both groups throughout the study, Lcr35 did not show significant effectiveness compared to the placebo. Overall, our findings suggest that using this specific probiotic alone is not an effective treatment for constipation in young children. It reinforces existing guidelines against probiotics for this issue.

Lactobacillus improves infant constipation
We aimed to understand how Lactobacillus reuteri NCIMB 30351 drops could help infants experiencing constipation and other gastrointestinal issues.

In a controlled study with 90 infants, we found that those receiving the drops had an increase in the number of bowel movements compared to those taking a placebo.

Additionally, other symptoms like regurgitation and crying were significantly reduced. This suggests that L. reuteri is a safe and effective option for relieving constipation and associated discomfort in newborns.
