Xin Liu completed her Ph.D. at the Institute for Nutritional Sciences, Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her research interests include precision nutritional intervention in weight control, the effects of nutrition and lifestyle on cardio-metabolic diseases, and the development of type 2 diabetes and metabolic syndrome. She has worked as a project manager at Beingmate Baby and Child Food Co. Ltd. and currently serves as an Associate Professor at Xi’an Jiaotong University Health Science Center. Xin Liu has also been a visiting scholar at the University of Oxford and is an Associate Editor for Nutrition & Metabolism.
