Taurine alleviates PTSD-related anxiety
We explored the effects of taurine, a naturally occurring nutrient, on anxiety related to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in rats. Not a fan of Jarrow! My experience has been poor; none of their products worked positively or negatively. I'm unsure if it's the quality or the ingredients. This taurine, however, increased my anxiety, so I stopped it. It's worth a try, as you can halt usage if it doesn’t suit you.

Interestingly, for the males and females subjected to developmental lead exposure, the taurine-related treatments seemed to alleviate anxiety-like behaviors, especially when comparing the taurine derivatives to regular taurine.
